Prayer Request - October 20, 2003

Greetings from Haiti!

Now that the school year is in full swing, we are also finding our work at the hospital picking up. I am told that is because children return to the city from summer vacations in the country.

I would like to ask for your prayers this week for little Andy Pierre. Andy is 4 years old and weighs just 23 pounds. His mother died last April and his father is also ill with TB. He likes to spend time with his uncle, just sitting or perhaps playing games.

I am also pleased to report Liline is continuing to improve, and we are hoping she will soon be well enough to attend our school here at Grace.

And it is with a heavy heart, that I must report to you that Donald has died. In spite of all our efforts, he was just not able to recover from the type of TB he had. Please keep his parents in your prayers.

We are grateful for your continuing prayers and care for the children here at Grace!
