Prayer Request - December 8, 2003

Good morning from Haiti!

We are pleased to report this morning very little effect from tropical storm Odette here in Port-au-Prince. We received a little rain on Saturday, but that has been all here. We do pray, however, for other areas that were much more affected than we were.

I ask this week for prayers for this little one, Mackenson Vixamar. Mackenson was here earlier in the fall, and his parents wanted to take him home. He has since returned, as he was not able to recover at home. Please hold him in your prayers, as we keep him here to help him gain some weight and recover from TB.

We also celebrate this week, the upcoming marriage of Elisa Frias, our Logistics Coordinator at ICC - Dominican Republic. Elisa is getting married on Sunday, December 14 - please keep her and her fiance in your prayers!

May God bless and keep you in this holy season of preparation for the coming of the Christ child!
